Womble Easysub
Womble Easysub is an efficient and convenient subtitle editing tool. With sound search feature, Subtitle Editor makes creating subtitle from scratch almost a pleasure, drastically reducing subtitle editing time. You can also import subtitle from DVD or existing subtitle file, then manipulate it freely, for example to adjust timecode or to change language. Especially, Subtitle Editor can help write subtitle to video file, then you can play the video with subtitle overlaid with a program or with a device directly. It also includes some useful functions, such as grouping subtitle, splitting subtitle and merging subtitle, which will ease the task even more.

The following is an example of using EasySub to modify a subtitle text from a DVD video.
1. load video
Start EasySub, and click the "Open Video..." button
Select Open DVD Folder if you want to load a DVD movie, or select a video file to load a video file.
2. edit the subtitle text
Select one text item from the text list by clicking on it, and the video player will jump to the beginning of the text display. Please note that selected subtitle item is also high lighted in the waveform display window.
Click again in the text item's text field, it switches to the text editing mode, and then enter your new text in the text file (two lines shown),
3. save the change
First, save the current work space to an EasySub project file.
Next, click
button on the upper right corner of the text list window,
select a file path and file name to export the changed VOB file,
and then press the Start button to start the export job.
4. review the export result
At the completion of the export, review the newly created VOB file by opening it in the video player.
This completes the example.
